I am totally baffled. When I change something in the code to what I want it to say and then try to save the changes the program will not let me. What do you think is wrong? Can someone help? [Administrators's note: Please look for the most appropriate forum in which to post and chose a more enlightening title than "Heeeeeeelp" :hahaha: Thread has been moved to a more appropriate place and retitled]Are you getting some kind of error message? What exactly happens when you click Save?Hello and welcome! I've been having this problem when I edit with too many documents open! » Lease Or Owned

vBulletin Owned License or lease license? I have VB for long now, on a lease license each year, but I was wondering what are the benefits of having an owned license VS lease license? ;)Owned is yours i belive and leased you are effectively renting off VB it is cheaper to out buy it. RichAn owned license is cheaper, believe it or not. The only real reason you should purchase a leased license is: A) You are running a temporary community, or B) You simply want to try out the vBulletin software. (And there is always a free online demo.)Oh, I just assumed I would have to pay $160 each year on the owned license? Thank youFor the owned licence it is a one off fee. » 12 exposures?

I saw the 12 exposure films and was wondering why would anyone want to pay for the 12 exposure rolls? Do you? I prefer 36 exp rolls.12 would be good for testing stuff out, like a new developer or technique or something. So then if it doesn't work so good, you didn't waste a whole 36 frames. But if you are going to do that, it's better to bulk load anyway.Depends. If you're in a hurry and are just catching a few images of one subject, one area, etc., then 12 exposures would suit fine. Obviously the better value is the 36 exposures, and when I have no time pressure and am wandering around, doing lots of bracketing, it makes more sense to have 36.About 5 years ago when I worked at the camera store/lab I read a consumer report that...... - 2009-07-03

» Where is the line between appeal and art in photography?

So Flickr has raised some questions for me. Maybe I'm just being cynical, but I've noticed that while some great photos are seen on a daily basis, some so-so stuff makes it to the top because: 1. It involves a hot girl. 2. Someone does something 'cute' 3. Someone includes a long poem or other excessive description which draws comments and whatnot, driving it up the list. So my questions is one that bugged me in film school also - where do you think the line between art and appealing to an audience is? After all, pretentious art that very few people 'get' can in many ways be considered poor in my opinion. I've always thought that art should be more accessible. Some great works are immediately impressive even to lay people. But at th...... - 2009-07-03

» Neutral density filters darker than ND8?

I'm having trouble finding any ND filters darker than ND8. I want something that will give me at least 10 stops of reduction. In 77mm. I don't like stacking filters. It greatly increase the amount of dust spots no matter how well I clean. Not to mention viginetting. Thank for any help.I am using two polarizers.... I popped the glass out of one and insert into a UV single glass filter ring (replacing the UV glass with the polarized one). I then stacked a polarizer ontop of that. Gives me 3-8 stops easily. This was a DIY project of mine since stacking two rotating polarizers was a royal pain to use and a bit too thick in front of a 50mm. Just did this a couple days ago so I haven't had a chance to shoot with it... but testing it on m...... - 2009-07-03

Im sick and tired of people like "THIS BELONGS IN THE NZ SECTION, AUSTRALIA AND NZ ARE TWO DIFFERENT COUNTRIES!!" So to explain it to all you dweebs out there that this matters so much to... I smoke and i'm not incompetant. But I am stupid for doing it. ha! ha!Smoking cigarettes is a very stupid thing to do. When I was very young, nobody knew the harm that it causes. Today, when we know very well how much damage cigarettes do, not only to the smoker's own lungs and heart, but also to the people around him/her, including small children, it seems not only ignorant, but selfish to smoke. Not to mention that it has gotten way too expensive. Most of the people who started smoking way back when are wishing desperately that they could quit, but it is very very hard...nicotine is highly addictive. gay movieI don't think it did because these books were made for teenagers so of course more teenagers are going to enjoy the movie. And besides you shouldn't let a movie conflict with how you like the books. For me, personally, I think the movie almost made the series better but that's because I thought Robert Pattinson did an amazing job as Edward. But yea, if you didn't like the movie, don't let it change your opinion on the books. That's not fair to Stephenie Meyer, she didn't act out the parts.no. if you read any of the vampire series, each is a little different. It's actually from onother forum, but it's impossible to poast ther IMO 1) Garrincha 2) Maradona 3) Pele 4) Ortega 5) Denilson But I'm more familiar with SA soccerWell this might not be the best thing to say but I always liked Daniel Da Cruz Carvalho (Dani). He played at Ajax for three years I believe. Every now and then he would have the ball somewhere around the midfield and then he would make this very fast run with the ball, all the way to the enemy goal. He made it look really easy. But besides him I wouldn't know. But he's a few leagues lower than these old boys above.Hands down (or punching the ball) Maradona. The man had the best feel for the ball ever. » WBA vs. Everton [R]

The Baggies have had a good run of form in recent weeks. And they have displayed some sense purpose - hopefully not too late in the season. After a week off from competitive football for all but Earnie and Koumas, can the Albion continue playing good football and earn something against one of the top clubs in the Premiership? Everton currently sit fourth in the table - four points above their Merseyside rivals. After looking a bit listless early in the season - especially after selling Wayne Rooney to Man United - the Toffees are in position to claim a Champions League place next season. That is, if they can hold off Liverpool AND if the Reds fail to win the European Cup. Meanwhile on the bottom of the table, Southampton overtook ...... - 2009-07-03

» Simon Elliott is a terrible shooter

Well, that's why I'm making this thread, at least. In the 8 years of the league's existence, the league has averaged .107 run of play goals/shot attempt. That number has seen a small decrease from the league's advent to now: 1996 0.116 1997 0.114 1998 0.116 1999 0.100 2000 0.104 2001 0.108 2002 0.102 2003 0.099 But it's remained pretty static. However, there's several guys who have, over their careers, almost doubled that number. Of players who have taken more than 80 shots in their career, these are the top 20 in career RoP goals/shots: Savarese, Giovanni 0.228 Shannon, Musa 0.215 Pineda Chacon, Alex 0.214 Prampin, Alan 0.205 Marino, Pete 0.202 Lassiter, Roy 0.199 John, Stern ...... - 2009-07-03

It also appears to be fundamental to the Linux kernel. But for grins, we're using a 21140 and Redhat 7.2. If you've had this problem, how did you solve it?
