» What do you think about censorship?
is it correct or wrong? what do you think?I think it's wrong but I also think it ok if a business doesn't want to carry something due to it's content that is ok as well. and I understand why it's a good ideal to have some limits on what is air on the public air waves but I am against the ideal of censoring something to make sure it doesn't reach the market at all.I don't like censorship. Its unnecessary in a world with parental controls for TVs and a public that can make their displeasure with content known by not frequenting businesses that offend them in some way.they (the gov't) might as well do this in the constitution, "free speech*" then we can read the fine print and see what free speech ...... - 2008-12-19
» Weird Question
I'm trying to make a life sized cardboard cut out of myself and I'm sorta stuck on where to start. Right now,the only camera I can get acess to is a Nikon D40. Is that enough mega pixels for a picture that size? I figure I'll print it out at Kinkos unless theres a place that charges cheaper. Also, I'm trying to make it so I can fold it up. What should I paste the picture on? Foam or cardboard? Sorry for such a weird questionWell since it's so large it might be a little grainy but due to it's size I doubt anyone will get wise. Fun idea though, I bet it would be funny to mess around with at parties. Not a weird question at all... It should be acceptable given that the viewing distance is going to be a good distance away. Viewing that size...... - 2008-12-19

» Help me with a stupid tux?
i have to wear a tux for a school band concert.... what can i do to make it look cooler?A) Stop being an idiot. You're being given a tuxedo, the best-looking item of men's clothing still in use. This is a good thing. You won't look stupid unless you screw it up by trying to make it look "cooler". B)The only way to make a tuxedo look cooler is by making it more classic. Most guys will probably be idiots and wear clip-on bow ties. You, on the other hand, will learn to tie a bow tie, knowing that it looks better. Black silk self-tied, just like James Bond: http://www.uniformalwearhouse.com/apages... C)A lot of guys will wear awful modern vests, or no waist covering at all. » Good quail recipes??
I cooked it in salt, celery salt, and pepper. Any other options for good quail????? Thanks...basically treat it like chicken. Personally I like to split it down the middle - brown in a pan with a little EVOO - then set aside. Add a little butter and wine and your favorite herbs. cook down a little. Add a TBLSPN. flour and make a gravy. Put the quail in a 350 oven till cooked thru - then you add your gravy on top. Easy and elegant.....way to go.i cut quail in half lengthways.i then brush them in honey n hang to dry in open air.once its dried i mince some garlic then put them n a bowl.in the bowl i also put seasoning and five spice.i mix througly n then rub the mixture in the insides(breast cage)of the quail halves. ur then ready to gr...... - 2008-12-19

Comic books, I loved Kid Colt and anything that had paper dolls like Katy Keene, Millie the Model, Patsy and Hedy, etc....My favorite comic book was Archie and my favorite Sunday paper comic strips were The Family Circle and Blondie, Peanuts and Nancy. I remember the adult comic strips, like Mary Worth etc, and never understood why anyone would find those interesting. lol ..but I was only a kid. :)I liked Archie, because of Betty and Veronica. » Would you like there to be a god?
I'm an atheist. Always have been and probably always will. But. Wouldn't it be nice at times to have a god to believe in? Something to watch over our loved ones? Something to reunite us after death? Something that we could call on when we needed help and advice? Why do believers, of any religion, think we'd simply give up these things? Why is it so easy for them to believe simply because it suits their needs? Or are they all lying to themselves?Seems a little creepy, honestly. To find out more, check a physics book or ask the question under the science section of Yahoo Answers.F = Force M = mass A = acceleration Therefore, force (F) = mass x acceleration (MA)It's the formula for force. Just wanted to know. :)No clue. Supposedly there will be an sometime update after 3.7. Supposedly communication is supposed to improve after 3.7. Honestly I expected this software to have a ramped up development cycle, given the lack of features. But there's been no real communication on the topic.Well, depends on "soon," but I'd guess it wouldn't be that long after. For example, there's apparently a blog 1.1.0 Beta 1 already being developed (see this (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/project.php?issueid=23550)), it looks like something is cookie in the Jelsoft kitchen. :) If you're talking a maintenance release, well then probably "soon" too. :pFor example, there's apparently a blog 1.1.0 Beta 1 already being developed (see this (http://www...... - 2008-12-19

hi everybody i'm going to tell you abt how to protect yourself from PHISHING atacks so lets see how they work: an attacker creates a fake session expire screen and send it to you asking for your password . when you enter your password that password is mailed to him becuz of a script he has inserted in the coding of that fake screen. then the fake page automatically redirects you to the home page of that website, most users take this as a error, but it is more than that. to protect urself follow the following point: >if ever you are woking on the internet and you get a session expire page in front of you suddenly or suspiciously ,first give a wrong password to it , if it says "invalid username/password" then you can be sure that this was a...... - 2008-12-19

» Why Is The Grass Green Why Is The Sky Blue?
it's something that some people just wanna know. When the sunlight comes down through the atmosphere, some of the light is scattered around through complex interactions. It does eventually make it to our eyes and since blue light is scattered more than the other colors, the sky looks blue. (Since it is all scattered light.) When you are seeing the green in grass, you are looking at reflected green light. Plants like other wavelengths of light for photosynthesis, mostly blue and red colors. They absorb very little green light, so most of it gets bounced around until it reaches your eyes. On an interesting, but not quite as relevant sidenote, our eyes are most sensitive to green light, and it is the waveband the sun radiates the...... - 2008-12-19

» Tool less router table top to TS2400
I made two brackets and a router table that I can attach to the TS2400 without any tools and in a minute. I got the idea from a post from "gtlightning98". First I made a router table using 3/4" melamine shelf. The dimension are 10.5"x21. Then I made two brackets that are fitting in the opening in the front and back rails of the table saw. » Designing Albums
I was just wanting to get input from other that are designing their own coffee table album layouts. I have only done a few and absolutely loved the finished product and have booked several weddings from them being showed off, but the amount of time taken to design them needs to come down! I would also like to offer 7x7 albums for children, seniors etc.. I would appreciate if anyone would share their workflow ideas for these times of albums. How much input do you give the customer.....do you show them the final layouts and allow them to make any changes before it is ordered? Do you create templates in photoshop, or do you use any programs to create them. Please share favorite layouts you have done and any neat techniques you have used t...... - 2008-12-19

Well i didnt just experience it, but earlier on today i "wiped" and usually the T-paper comes up like clear, but i had the tiniest bit of a pinkish/orangish colour on it. It was also dischargy. My mum said i might be experiencing "the show". But it was the tiniest bit ever. Im 35 weeks. Anyone know what it is? Ty.Every women is different, and it id very possible this was your show. Some women 'show' more than others, and it happens at different times, Best of luck!It is very common in pregnancy to get more/different/extra discharge than normal. » Thermal Power Plant Capital Costs
I am looking for up to date typical costs of construction of small thermal power plant - approx 5 MW - also cost of individual plant components - heat recovery steam generators, steam turbines, generators condensor sets and feed pumps. A website that gives access to general costing information for the power industry would be ideal.I worked at an oil fired old steam turbine plant for a year. Three units totaling about 700 megawatts. Sandia labs are doing research on solar power towers in the 50 megawatt range, so you may get some clues there. Bectel corporation (famous for big cost over runs on nuclear power plants) claims they can build 300 megawatt solar power towers that make electricity for 5 cents per KWH, but I suspect it is a half tru...... - 2008-12-19

» Best base layers for ski-ing?
What are the best/most comfortable/manoeuvrable things to wear under your ski jacket & salopettes/ski trousers. Is it thermals or can you just wear tops and sweaters under them main outfit for base layers?Under Armour makes a great line of cold gear in a variety of weights and cuts. Normally that as a base layer and the jacket are all I need. Sometimes I'll toss on a fleece sweatshirt, but only on really cold days.I tend to wear thermal trousers and a t-shirt, and sometimes that's a bit warm, depends on your level though, beginner - you're going to get cold, so wear more, downhill/pure speed (yeah!!!!) - don't really need much on underneath. H7N3 Detected In Arkansas Poultry # 2044 http://afludiary.blogspot.com/ On the day when the UK reported its latest outbreak of H7 bird flu, Tyson Foods here in the United States announced plans to eradicate about 15,000 birds in Arkansas that tested positive for H7N3 antibodies during routine surveillance. The H7N3 virus was responsible for a large outbreak in Pakistan in 1995, and in 2004, British Columbia culled 19 million birds due to the virus. Two poultry workers developed mild symptoms (conjunctivitis) and tested positive for the H7N3 virus during the 2004 Canadian outbreak. For example when viewed in firefox the homepage tables are distorted: www.a1agifts.com while any other page has the tables ok: http://www.a1agifts.com/gifts-collectibles-wholesale.htm There must be a coding error on the homepage as the top border on both pages is identical and the tables on the main body are also WIDER when view in Firefox than Internet Explorer. » Printer and Monitor calibration
I have a pretty nice printer and I love my monitor also. However, I'm struggling with making the two match. Does anyone have any tips to adjusting your monitor to make it display close to what your printer is going to print?Throw them into the trash. I've seen grown men cry like a baby when it comes to this stuff. Okay, maybe not that bad, but it can be very frustrating. The simple/cheap way to do it is to play with your monitor settings, like brightness, contrast, and RGB balance (if it has it). The more accurate and expensive way is to make ICC profiles with a device that you put on the monitor that measures it's color output and adjusts it accordingly. Based simply on the laws of biology and the continued survival of the species homo sapiens, it is an aberration and not natural. Because my emotional state a mess, I was blessed with your tenderness, So I searched to see if your love was real, And it became revealed, A human-being I feel, For all I really yearned was a mothers touch to heal. http://www.ananova.com/news/story/sm_790942.html The article above seems to imply that airliners just eject the waste out of the side, where it falls to earth as frozen chunks. Surely not? So tell me, what really happens?Hello spurious-ga, Thank you for your question. Airlines are not permitted to dump toilet waste. The waste is kept in tanks until landing and then the ground crew pumps out the tanks and hauls the waste to a treatment facility. From the Chicago O'Hare Flight Standards District Office: Many people are of the assumption that aircraft lavatories dump overboard when they are flushed, this is not the case. Lavatory waste is contained on the aircraft in a holding tank until the aircraft lands. Whe...... - 2008-12-19

Since I work on a military base, emergency response teams react whenever there is any type of alarm or emergency call. So you get used to hearing a lot of sirens that are of no concern. I ran outside and found out that wasn't the case. So, I ran back in and grabbed my camera  There is a fuel station that's only about 100 yards from my office. I want to compete in combat sports like brazilian jiu-jitsu or MMA. But I am too skinny. I have a lot of experience in Muay Thai and BJJ, but I have never competed so I am still considered a novice. Should I buy the 24 hour fitness gym membership first (weight lifting) and gain weight? Or should I save some money and get the BJJ gym membership (no weights, %65 more expensive)?just train. competing BJJ is about how hard you've trained on the mat, not how hard you've been sweating in the sauna or how heavy you can lift. If I search for "ball joint socket" (using quotes) but only the phrase ball joint sockets appear any where on my pages the ZOOM search engine will return No Matches. If I take ball joint socket out of the quotes and run the search I will get results. Is this by design? Meaning that without the quotes Zoom will look for plurals when singular words are entered and vice versa, but will not do so when quotes are used. Is there a way to force it to look for both plural and singular words even though quotes are used? There is no special handling of single/plural variations of words, so "ball joint socket" is indeed considered different to "ball joint sockets". » Why do Atheists frequent this section of Yahoo answers? This is not mean as an attack or to be rude?
I don't want to be rude!!! but I want to know if it's to convert people into thinking like them, to argue, or are they seeking spiritual answers themselves? That's a fair question. Personally, I am curious to find out why religious people believe what they do. I'm not here to put anybody down or abuse them for their beliefs - but I would love to find out why theists believe in something which is so unbelievable to me. I have no intention to convert theists to atheism. Each to his own, after all. No, Im not looking for a spiritual answer - I'm a scientist and an athiest, and quite happy as I am. I see no reason why athiests and theists can't debate their beliefs in R&S, so long as both sides are respectfull...... - 2008-12-19

» U11s and passing
Are U11s too young to teach basic skills? I'm an assitant coach for u11 boys. None of them know how to pass the ball properly, yet all of them think they do because they have done passing drills in the past. It hit home when my girlfriend's son said I am teaching them things they already know. Should I worry about if they pass correctly or not, or just let them pass the ball whatever way they feel comfortable even if it is wrong? BTW, one of them crosses his feet after a pass or shot and many of the other kids toe-punch.I am no coach, but the fundamentals are important for any sport. Plus you need to knock these cocky SOBS down to earth.please teach them to pass the ball properly. They are at a very important age for develo...... - 2008-12-19
is it correct or wrong? what do you think?I think it's wrong but I also think it ok if a business doesn't want to carry something due to it's content that is ok as well. and I understand why it's a good ideal to have some limits on what is air on the public air waves but I am against the ideal of censoring something to make sure it doesn't reach the market at all.I don't like censorship.
It should be acceptable given that the viewing distance is going to be a good distance away. i have to wear a tux for a school band concert.... what can i do to make it look cooler?A) Stop being an idiot.

» PHPBB -> Vbullitin
Hey there I have a phpbb forum, but I don't like it much .. I liked vbullitin very much and since my webhost offer it, I decided to move to it but I have a question: Is it possible to convert my phpbb db into vb db without loosing any data? if yes, can anyone please help me find a howto? ThanksvBulletin comes with an import system which allows the transfer of data from a large variety of other forum software, including phpbb. You can find more information about this by reading the sticky threads in this forum (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=92) or by having a look at this page in the manual (http://www.vBulletin.com/docs/html/impex)phpBB -> vBulletin is, I think, the most popular import so I think it's well-tested and ......
I cut the bracket oversize and then trimmed them down in order to get a good fit in the rails and for the router table to be flat with the table saw. Here is the brackets http://www.ridgidforum.com/forum/attachment.php?attachmentid=2718&stc=1&d=1202962666 Here is the router table and brackets upside down.

If I search for "ball joint socket" (using quotes) but only the phrase ball joint sockets appear any where on my pages the ZOOM search engine will return No Matches. That's more than half of our GDP. All we need to do is control our spending, stop bailing out businesses, eliminate corporate taxes and impose a $100 tariff on every shipping container that comes to our country. In this age of container shipping, the tariff would be easier than ever before. In time, the debts would get paid, so long as we don't spend beyond our means or do this stupid free-trade thing again. Taxing business while importing 3rd w...... - 2008-12-19

We had a giant lecture hall with 500+ seats and this beautiful woman always got there early. One day she was sitting in the middle of the room and I sat right down next to her and said... Is this seat taken?...she laughed and we started going out that night.trust me.. i guy would not mind that AT ALL.. so just go ahead and talk to hi...... - 2008-12-19
» Can a guy wear this ?
http://disneyshopping.go.com/disney/stor...If he feels comfortable enough wearing that, then by all means, he could wear it if he wanted to.I wouldn't worry so much about Tinkerbell aspect, but women's jackets may not be cut the same way as men's. I had a down jacket I picked up at a garage sale that was women's and the sleeves were too short, even though it was XL size. Report Abuse Why shouldn´t a guy wear this ? The jacket is not really feminine, but somewhat unisex. The fact that the buttons or the ziper are on the wrong side will not be noticed by most people. I am wearing such jackets with my normal male outfit. And you can wear it with a feminine outfit as well. ...... - 2008-12-19
» What to wear for a family wedding?
would a pair of dark denim jeans and nice tunic top with possibly black boots be inapropriate for a wedding? going to church ceremony then reception., or even a pair of black pants? it does seem as if my attire is more suitable for a funeral? how morbid. what do you'll think? need help thank.try a wedding dress .I think always a dress for a wedding unless it's super casual. If everyone else is more dressed up than you you will feel like a bum trust me I've made that mistake before. Just something simple and elegant, not too fancy or sexy, you don't have to wear heels but I do think jeans and boots are too casual for a wedding in most cases. Even just a skirt and nice top will work :)no...try wearing a nice pair of pan...... - 2008-12-19
» Homepage Trouble
Whenever I open windows explorer I get a different homepage I never wanted, I change it but it still comes back. I have tried adaware, but it doesn't take it away.search for spybot search and destroy and try that, if that doesnt do the trick you are going to have to use Hijack This, but you have to be careful with that one, its powerful but you have to know what you are looking for. If all else fales, its many hours in regedit.exe for you :( I feel your pain, I just fixed my cousins computer who had the WORST case of adware/spyware I have ever seen, complete with virus like random program replication... it was a huge mess.well i tried spybot search and destroy and nothing worked.i got rid of it with cwshredder. you can get it here, htt......
